geist is a talented pony when it comes to music,hes even come up with gloves that help him play better. unlike most ponies though, geist likes his music quite differently than most ponies,while the bulk of equestria listens to classical,soft rock,or techno about love and tolerance, geist wants just wants to sings about the death of the world. he also believes that at one time there were songs like the one he trying to write at one time in euquestria,its been long repressed.
he also trys to teach his craft to anyone who wanted to learn,even the cutie mark crusaders, during the course of the lesson and narrow advoidance of having his instruments and equipment destroyed,they told him of Heavy Cord and the song he sang that night and a few that hes song since. it was right Gheist's alley,and later at brony night he strike up a conversation with cord about the music he remembers though they get interrupted.
later after all the excitement has died down and that following monday gheist agrees to teach how to play on the simple condition that he recreate everything he remembers.
